Anguilla is an Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom and lies in the Eastern Caribbean, adjacent to the BVI and Antigua. Anguilla has an English common law base together with political stability.


Formation details

Company formation can be completed quickly usually within 2 days. Documents are generally received at our offices in 7 days.  

Company names must end with an indication that the company has a limited liability and may include “Ltd.”, “Corp”, “Inc” “SA” or “GmbH” etc.  

Name restrictions. Certain words including “Bank” and “Royal” are restricted.

Taxes & Accounts

Anguilla is a zero tax jurisdiction.  There is no distinction in taxation between International Business Companies (IBC's), LLC's, LP's, local companies or individuals.  Accounts need not be filed.

Directors and Shareholder requirements

A minimum of one director and one shareholder are required. Corporate directors and shareholders are acceptable and these included are part of our corporate Anguilla package.   

Directors and shareholders are not on the public record. However it is now a requirement for the register of members and directors to be maintained by the registered agent on the island together with details of the beneficial owner. These registers are not subject to inspection except under court order.
